Market Position Statements are documents produced to help Adult Social Care providers and people who use adult social care services in Newcastle understand what services are currently on offer in the City, and also what we think these care services should look like in the future. One of the main objectives of the Market Position Statement is to achieve a cooperative approach to the commissioning of services; this means we will work with providers, people who use services, their family members / carers and voluntary and community groups to understand what's needed in the City and to develop services.
