Fairways Flood Alleviation Scheme 2018 - This consultation has now ended

We are committed to reducing flood risk across the city and have identified areas that will benefit from investment. The Fairways Flood alleviation scheme will reduce flood risk to properties in your area in Dene Ward. The scheme design has been uploaded to this website for you to view here: 

A drop-in session is now open and will run until the end of February, hosted in the customer service centre at Newcastle City Library, where you can view a hard copy of the plans.  If you have any questions regarding the scheme please email letstalk@newcastle.gov.uk or Flood.management@newcastle.gov.uk
Newcastle City Council will be carrying out maintenance work on the drainage ditch to the rear of Westminster Way in January 2018 in preparation for the scheme.
