North East Active Travel Strategy Public Consultation 2023 - This consultation has now ended

The proposed North East Active Travel Strategy outlines plans for a major package of investments in the North East region’s walking, wheeling and cycling network totalling £500m - including Newcastle upon Tyne. A public consultation is being run by North Tyneside Council. It is live until 5 March 2023, and we would like to hear your views.

  • Attending an online consultation events: There will be a number of online events throughout the consultation, which will offer an overview on the proposed strategy and an opportunity for members of the public and stakeholders to ask questions. Each session will provide the same overview presentation, so please register to attend whichever session you find to be most convenient. Online events will take place on Zoom on the following dates:
