What we are doing
The council is composed of 78 councillors who are democratically elected and accountable to residents. Councillors work with local people and partners, such as community groups, businesses and local organisations to agree and deliver on local priorities. Their decisions are implemented by council officers, who deliver services to the city on a daily basis.
Each year, locally elected Ward Councillors can host an annual ward meeting to meet with residents, share information about local activities and services and talk about local priorities. The information collected will tell us what is good about a place and what could be better and allow you to tell us what is most important to you.
