The City Council is coming to the end of its existing long-standing contract for providing bus shelters with Clear Channel UK. To inform the development of a new contract we would like your views on the future provision of bus shelters across the city. This video tells you more:
When considering the financial constraints the council faces, it is clear that a "needs-based" approach that establishes a robust system for the future of bus shelter provision is required. The aim is to enable an objective, transparent and sustainable approach for future provision of bus shelters. This approach would determine whether and when to provide bus shelters in any particular location, as well as considering the type of shelters that should be provided. We would welcome your views on a "needs-based" approach as well as the establishing the requirements at bus shelters.
