Over the last few months we have been setting up the Newcastle Parks Trust, to care for
and develop our parks and allotments in the future. We would now like to share some specific information with the public, and have arranged three open sessions in July to cover the following:
1. Governance: the governance structure for the Trust and constitution
2. Community Representation Sub-Group: the public consultation we did in 2017 made it clear that people wanted to see community interests and views included within the Trust’s structure. We have therefore included a “Community Representation Group” as a sub-group of the Board of Trustees, and would like to share the terms of reference for this.
3. Opportunity for Questions.
