We would like to ask for your views on the way the Council commissions speech and language therapy services for children and young people in Newcastle.
Newcastle City Council and Newcastle Gateshead Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCG), who are responsible for planning and commissioning health care services, would like to enter into a Section 75 Agreement. This means making formal arrangements for the Council and the CCG to pool their budgets so that they can jointly commission a speech and language therapy service for children and young people in Newcastle. We think that this will be a more efficient way of doing this.
