This consultation closed on 6 October 2019.
With new housing developments planned in the west of Newcastle, we have identified problem junctions that need investment to improve efficiency and journey time reliability, as well as provide greener travel choices and improve safety. We have developed new designs for the junctions at Brunton Road / Brunton Lane, Ponteland Road / Station Road, Ponteland Road / Etal Lane, Ponteland Road / Harehills Avenue, Ponteland Road / Springfield Road, Stamfordham Road / Pooley Road, Stamfordham Road / Springfield Road. We asked people to give us their views in September-October 2019 on the Commonplace platform: https://newcastlejunctions2019.commonplace.is/about
