Flooding in Jesmond 2012 - This consultation has now ended

Several streets, properties, schools and businesses in North and South Jesmond were seriously affected by the heavy rainfall on 28 June, 5 and 6 August, including a number of residents having to move out of their homes.
Councillors, council officers and representatives from Northumbrian Water have been working closely with individual residents and residents groups to ensure they have the information they need to develop a joint action plan and to ensure that those affected by the floods receive the necessary support and advice they need.
This consultation includes a topic wall where you can talk to others affected or concerned about flooding in Jesmond.  We would suggest that individual addresses are not identified for security and confidentiality purposes.
