Denton Ward Committee has allocated £20,000 to a Udecide project which aims to improve activities and information for children and young people in the ward. We now need our young people and other residents to take part in the final bit of the process and vote on the projects they would like to be delivered to decide who gets a share of the £20,000.
The project ideas are now in and now it is time for you to decide who gets funded. We have already held a voting event on 12 November 2013 where people voted on their favourites. We will also be asking local schools to vote.
If you would like to vote online please complete our survey by clicking here. Not everyone will be successful so we need you to vote for your favourite scheme.
The list of projects you can vote for are:
1. Local Heroes - The Hat Trick Project - £5000
2. What's Cooking? - Real Food Works - £3,236
3. Splashing about! - Outer West Swimming Pool - £2,923
4. Phoenix Project - Tyne & Wear Fire & Rescue Service - £4000
5. Urban Action - Solar Learning - £5,888
6. Here. Now. - Newcastle Libraries - £5,360
